Usage: Photos are read to calculate perceptual hashes for comparison
Storage: Analysis results are stored only in your device's local database
Control: You can choose to grant limited or full photo library access

3.2 Contacts Access (Optional)

Purpose: To identify duplicate contacts
Usage: Contact information is read for local comparison only
Storage: No contact data is stored; analysis is performed in real-time

4. Data Processing

All data processing happens entirely on your device:

Photo similarity detection uses on-device perceptual hashing algorithms
Contact duplicate detection uses on-device Levenshtein distance algorithms
Storage analysis calculations are performed locally
No data is transmitted over the internet

5. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions:

5.1 Photo Library Access (Required)

Why we need it: This is the core functionality of the app. Without photo library access, the app cannot analyze your photos for duplicates.

What we do with it: We only read photos to perform local analysis. We never upload or transmit your photos.

Your control: You can revoke this permission at any time in iOS Settings.

5.2 Contacts Access (Optional)

Why we need it: To provide the optional duplicate contact detection feature.

What we do with it: We only read contacts for local comparison. No contact data is stored or transmitted.

Your control: This feature is entirely optional. You can use the app without granting contacts access.

6. Third-Party Services

The app uses the following open-source libraries:

Custom Perceptual Hashing Implementation: Used for photo comparison (no data transmission)
Custom Levenshtein Distance Implementation: Used for contact comparison (no data transmission)

No third-party analytics or tracking services are used.

7. Data Security

Since we don't collect or transmit any data, there are no remote data security concerns. Your data security is ensured by:

iOS sandboxing and security mechanisms
On-device encryption provided by iOS
No network transmission of personal data

8. Data Retention

Analysis results (such as identified duplicate groups) are stored locally on your device using Core Data. You can delete this data at any time by:

Deleting the app
Clearing the app's data through iOS Settings
Using the app's built-in cache clearing feature

9. Children's Privacy

The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is rated 4+ and is suitable for all ages.

10. Your Rights

Since we don't collect any personal data, there is no data for us to provide, correct, or delete. All your data remains on your device under your complete control.

11. International Users

This app can be used anywhere in the world. Since all processing happens on your device:

No data crosses international borders
GDPR compliance: No personal data is processed by us
